Failed casino robbery, suspect shot to death

On Monday, August 19, an armed robber attempted to rob two casinos but was surrounded by police and subsequently shot to death. The events took place in the city of Laughlin, Nevada, which is located near Las Vegas. The identity of the suspect has not yet been announced. The police will do this after the victim's relatives have been notified.

It all started at about one in the afternoon when an unknown person tried to rob the Golden Nugget casino. He threatened the cashier with a gun and demanded to give the money. But the cashier refused to obey and the robber left. Within half an hour he was at another casino, Aquarius, and did the same. Once again, he could not take the money. Seeing a security guard nearby, and presumably panicked, he left the scene of the crime.

The cashier alerted security, and one of the employees followed the man to the street, where he was shot by the suspect. Fortunately, he was not hurt. The suspect was unable to escape. He was surrounded in the parking lot, where he sat in his car for about six hours. After that, he went out and pointed a weapon at the policemen. Then he was killed.

According to some reports, it is not yet known whether the suspect fired at the police or not. All officers involved in the incident will hand over their cameras, after which an investigation will be conducted.
